The 4 Most Common Male Sex Myths
October 10, 2016
When it comes to sex, a lot of people profess to be sexperts. They believe that they know everything there is to know about the subject. They know the best positions, sex tricks, and every sex related news story out there. Of course, they also spout many of the sex myths as though they are facts.
There are tons of different “facts” that people talk about when it comes to sex, but there are plenty that people believe to be true. Here on the Escort England blog we take a look at four of the most common sex myths out there and why they are myths, not facts.
1. Guys can’t have multiple orgasms
There seems to be a strange belief that multiple orgasms are reserved only for women, and that it is a total impossibility for men. Women can have orgasm after orgasm in the minds of some, while men are able to just have one explosive orgasm and leave it at that. As you might have guessed from the title of this blog, that is not the case.
Some men are capable of having multiple orgasms. Of course, people debate whether these are true orgasms, as some people have come up with tantric sex techniques to help people achieve non-ejaculatory orgasms, since most men need a slight break between each round in order to go again. We say that it is at least worth a shot to see how it works for you, right?
2. The bigger the better!
This is one of the biggest sex myths out there, and yet it is one that always seems to come. People believe that the bigger your cock, the better you are in bed. This might sound like great news for those of you with big dicks out there, but for others it can really make you feel inferior. You’ll be pleased to know that it is absolutely not true.
Size has absolutely no bearing on how much your partner will enjoy themselves. Sex is more about the techniques you use in the bedroom, and not how much of your partner’s pussy you can impale on your pole. If you just thrust your cock in and out and expect results, you are going to be disappointed. You need to put the effort in to make her feel really good… so don’t rely on the size of your penis to do it all for you.
3. All men can control when they cum
For some people, things like premature ejaculation and delayed ejaculation are problems in the bedroom that are difficult to overcome. With the right techniques, you can improve your chances to control your orgasms… but sometimes it is impossible. However, one of the big sex myths that people like to talk about is the fact that all men can learn to control their orgasms.
This is not the case. There are all kinds of different factors that cause you to cum early. Stress at work, stress at home, or other things weighing on your mind can mean that the orgasm you were hoping for simply doesn’t come when you were hoping it would. Not all men can control when they cum.
4. Men never fake orgasms
When people talk of faking orgasms, they think of women. They might think of that famous scene from When Harry Met Sally, where Sally proves that it is difficult to tell the difference between a real and fake orgasm by faking it in the middle of a crowded restaurant. “I’ll have what she’s having!” Well, people seem to believe that men never fake orgasms… and that is another one of the sex myths we need to bust.
A recent study found that a large number of women will fake an orgasm when they want to end bad sex. However, they also found that men will fake orgasms too. They might not fake them as often as women, but they still fake them. In the case of men, the main reason was to “boost their partners’ egos”. So, men fake orgasms too!
