‘Titcoins’ Are Coming, Or Are They?

We have all heard about bitcoins. This is the digital currency which has become more and more popular since it’s inception in 2009. They have become so popular that the US Treasury has described them as a ‘decentralised currency’. But have you ever heard of ‘Titcoins’?

Real or Fake?

Well this is the the idea coming from Pornhub, and the internet is not quite sure yet whether it is real or not.

The idea, as you can see in the video below, is that certain businesses would sign up for titcoins, say a bar for example. A woman would want to pay for a drink with titcoins. The picture of the boobies would go straight to Pornhub and help create user generated amateur content. No faces would be shown; this would just be boobs.

It has certainly generated a lot of interest. Reading up on it, it does seem to be a wind up. Reaction has been mixed, ranging from taking it with the humour that was intended, to people claiming it objectifies women.

One thing did cross my mind. Could this be a dry run to see if the idea would fly? If it went down badly it could be written off as a joke, whilst if it went well, it could be brought into operation at a later date.

An Obvious Problem

The issue may be that women flashing their boobs in the middle of bars may offend certain people, even if the rest found the whole thing quite funny.
