There’s no easy way to say it, but sex ruts suck. You want sex, but when you have it, it just doesn’t feel as though it is as satisfying as it could be. It could be that you have found yourself doing the same things in the bedroom, and so you are desperate to get out of your sex rut.

I have seen some crazy shit since I started working here. Hell, when I was 18 I never would have believed I would work in the sex industry at all. Therefore, it takes quite a bit to shock me as I am getting to the stage where I feel that I have seen it all. Well, that changed this week when I saw the story of ‘vagina beer’ coming from Poland.

It is fair to say the sex toy industry is becoming more prevalent these days. As attitudes to sex become more relaxed, then people are being encouraged to embrace products that help them get the most out of their bedroom antics. Still, even I was shocked at their most recent advert from sex toy company ‘Lovehoney’, which shows people having real orgasms.

We are all guilty of trying to skip to the main event during sex. We want to enjoy the pleasure of sex with our partner, and the build up sometimes doesn’t feel quite as exciting as it could. One of the biggest casualties of this is fingering.

Let’s admit it… it would be amazing if our partners could read our minds when it comes to sex. The problem is that they can’t. They can’t just look at us and instantly know what we want, unless we happen to be holding a sign detailing the exact way we want them to give it to us. This is why we need to open up about sex.

It isn’t enough for us to have regular sex. Oh no. We want to make sure that we are having enough sex. We want to compare our sex lives to the sex lives of our peers to ensure that we are having enough sex per month. If not then we’ll just have to up the ante, won’t we?

Whenever we watch porn, we always hear the woman screaming. So much so in fact that I don’t know about you, but when I watch it I have to turn the volume right down so I don’t get complaints from my neighbours. If that is going to change I am going to have to get paid more and move to a big house in the country, surrounded only by wildlife.

The annual ‘World Day Against Trafficking in Persons’ is almost here. It takes place on July 30th, and for us, it is the most important day in the industry.
